Transport


It is expected that students maintain appropriate behaviour at all times.
Students may be prohibited from riding the school bus should they be involved in the following infringements :

  • Putting arms, hands or head out of the bus window.
  • Throwing objects out of the bus window.
  • Getting off of the bus at a point other than the designated drop-off point without permission.
  • Disrespect towards the bus attendants or drivers.
  • Any behavior that jeopardizes the safety of the bus passengers.
  • Vandalism.
  • Any behaviour that is distracting to the driver.
  • Continual misbehaviour or violation of other DBIS rules.

Canteen

Food and beverages may only be consumed in the designated eating areas or with permission from a teacher. Students are required to clear their tables after finishing eating. Glass, plates and utensils are not to be removed from the cafeteria. Trash and waste must be disposed of properly. Failure to properly dispose of trash and waste may result in disciplinary consequences. Gum chewing is not allowed in the school.

Students involved in activities after the scheduled departure of the buses must make their own travel arrangements with the approval and permission of their parents. Details of such activities will be given in the fortnightly Newsletter or mails.

Vegetarian/non-vegetarian lunch and snacks are provided by our school caterer every day. Payment is through a coupon system. Coupons may be purchased on a monthly basis from our canteen. Students who wish to avail lunch on a pro rata basis, may purchase it through cash payment. The money can be paid to the canteen manager.
