Admissions 2022 – 2024

At DBIS we limit our class size to a maximum of 25 students in the A Level program. We pride ourselves in personalised education, smaller classes and one to one interaction among students and teachers.

Eligibility

  • Internal Students : Minimum B or above in English as a First Language and Mathematics in Grade 9 Report Card.

  • External Students : (SSC / ICSE / CBSE / IGCSE) : Minimum 75% (average of all the subjects) in Grade 9 Final Report card.

  • Achievement grade that translates into CGPA of 9.0 or 95% and above.
  • IGCSE
  • Minimum 5A* and not more than one C.
  • Scholarship Categories

    The scholarships awarded at DBIS are open to both internal and external students. A maximum of 2 students will be awarded the scholarship in the School Toppers & Academics and 1 student in the sports category.

    • Highest average of all attempted subjects.
    • The students who have persistently achieved high academic grades/scores.
    • To be eligible to apply, students must meet the Minimum Eligibility Criterion in grade 10.
    • The student who has persistently achieved meritorious performance at the national and international level sporting competitions.
    • 50% concession granted on the tuition fee.
    • 25% concession granted on the tuition fee.
    • 50-75% concession granted on the tuition fee.
    • After the results are announced, a letter to this effect will be issued from their respective school.
    • Apply for scholarship to the Director of the school by writing an application and a recommendation letter of a subject teacher.
    • Apply for scholarship to the Director of the school by writing an application and a recommendation letter of a Sports coach.

    • 14th AUG
    • Orientation.
    • Forms available for download from the website.
    • Parents may call to set up a meeting with the coordinator/ College or Career counsellor for further guidance.
    • 7th SEPT
    • Forms to be submitted by this date with all the required documents to Ms Michelle in the school office.
    • 13th SEPT
    • Shortlisted candidates informed of the interaction schedule with the Director and Principal.
    • 20th - 24th SEPT
    • Candidate interaction with the Director and Principal.
    • 27th SEPT
    • Final list of candidates released.
    • Admission process continues.
